The Best Teen Gifts According to Eisenhower Students

With the Christmas holiday nearing this means time off of school, spending time with family and friends, and best off all, gifts. Christmas shopping for people can be difficult especially when you don’t know exactly what they want. So with our collective survey results we have determined what teenagers want most this holiday season.
Shoes
The top answer that we got was shoes. More specifically, a pair of UGG boots. These can be found at any shoe store including places like Journeys, Shoe Carnival, and Famous Footwear. They are priced at around $110 a pair. If that price is a little too steep this year, an alternate suggestion would be a clothing item.
2. Clothes
Whether it be a hoodie, a funny shirt, or a fun pair of socks, clothing items were the second most popular item on everyone's list. Especially socks. Socks were the number one answered article of clothing. Fun socks are especially popular and make great stocking stuffers. They can be found at places such as Walmart, Target, and Kohl's. The average price of a pair of silly socks is around 7-12 dollars. Though if these aren’t your idea of a perfect gift, there's always the option of food.
3. Food
Food was the third most popular item to want this Christmas Season. When asked the question of “What will you never get tired of receiving?” The answer was largely food related. Chocolate and other assorted candy were the most popular answers for this category. If you were to give these gifts to someone you could go with the classic Hershey's Chocolate and Sour Patch Kids, or you could spring for the premium goods. Coco Dolce and The Ferris Wheel Candy Co. have delicious treats that are perfect for gift giving.
These gift ideas will be perfect for any teen and if you still don’t think that any of these things will work, the next best option is just a simple gift card to a person's favorite store. But the spirit of Christmas isn’t just about gift giving, it's also about spending time with the ones you love. So if you aren’t able to give your friends or family a gift this year, being with each other is a gift in itself.
